Dallas 30-37-4 ATS vs Denver 39-32 ATS will match up two good Western Conference teams that are in desperate need of wins. Denver currently sits a half game out of the playoffs but is still on the outside looking in. Dallas is currently the 7 seed but can be in some serious trouble as reigning MVP Dirk Nowitzki recently went down with a bad injury.
In addition to Nowitzki’s injury, the Mavericks have been surprisingly struggling since Jason Kidd has  been on board going only 10-8 with the all star point guard in uniform. Josh Howard appears ready to step up into the lead role and is having a great all around season averaging 19.6 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Jason Terry is also an excellent bench player who can score and do it quickly. Denver is a -9 point NBA betting favorite.
Denver has been a two man show since Allen Iverson entered town a few years ago. Iverson and his running mate Carmelo Anthony have made the Nuggets a high powered offensive team as they average 26.6 and 25.5 points respectively. Marcus Camby is also having a phenomenal season as he averages 13.5 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game. Without Camby, Denver would give up god knows how many points especially in the west. If Denver wants to get the final playoff spot, they must beat an injury ridden Mavericks team.
