Saturday night at Charlotte Bobcat Arena in Charlotte, N.C., The Louisville Cardinals will try to stop the madness. That is the madness the North Carolina Tar Heels has turned opponents into during this 2008 NCAA Tournament. And the Cardinals don’t plan or want to be just the next bump in the road for the Tar Heels. The No. 3-seeded Cardinals and No. 1-seeded Tar Heels will tip off at 9:05 p.m. ET on Saturday on CBS. 

Oddsmakers at online sports wagering giant BetOnline.com , have installed the Tar Heels as -6 ½ chalk favorites ATS with a money line price of -275 for a SU win over the Cardinals. The game total is holding at 155.

Louisville enters the game at 27-8 overall following a 79-60 win over No. 2-seeded Tennessee on Thursday night in Charlotte. Sophomore forward Earl Clark led five Cards scoring in double-figures with 17 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, while guards Andre McGee and Jerry Smith added 13 points each. Louisville was 26-of-50 from the field (52-percent) while holding the Volunteers to 33.9 percent on 19-of-56 shooting. The Cards also out-rebounded the Vols 43-28.

North Carolina enters the game at 35-2 overall following Thursday's 68-47 win over No. 4-seeded Washington State. Junior forward Tyler Hansbrough led the Tar Heels with 18 points and nine rebounds in the win, while Danny Green added 15 points. UNC, tabbed as the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament by the selection committee when the pairings were announced earlier this month, held the Cougars to 31.6-percent shooting from the field (18-of-57) and out-rebounded Washington State 46-32.

The winner of Saturday's Louisville-North Carolina game will advance to play the winner of the Midwest Region in the Final Four on Saturday, April 5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
