NBA Picks: Suns vs Bulls NBA Odds – March 30, 2010: Winners of a season-high seven games ion a row, the red-hot (47-26) Phoenix Suns [-3½] pay a visit to the (35-28) Chicago Bulls [+3½] who are desperately trying to sneak into the 2010 NBA Postseason. This interconference battle is scheduled to tipoff at 8:10 PM ET (5:10 PM PT) from the United Center, Chicago, IL, and it will be broadcasted live in high definition on NBA-TV.
Going into tonight’s game, the Suns sit comfortably in fourth place with opportunity to improve their position before the season is over. Currently trailing the third seeded Utah Jazz by 1 game and the second place Dallas Mavericks by just 1½, Phoenix could easily finish in second place only behind the (54-20) Los Angeles Lakers before the season expires.
The Suns are coming off a 111-105 victory over Minnesota Timberwolves, led by Amare Stoudemire’s 30 points and 17 rebounds, complemented by Steve Nash’s 14 points and 11 dimes. “This was an important game. If you lose this game, it could be disastrous,” Nash said. “So I just wanted to try and be there for the team.”
For the Bulls, they now sit in the 9th spot in the Eastern Conference Playoff standings, but only trail the Toronto Raptors by one game for the final spot. “If we go on a streak for four or five games, there's nothing they can do if they continue to lose,” Derrick Rose stated. “We've just got to stay focused and not worry about them, just keep worrying about us.”
Needless to say that it’s going to be a great matchup tonight, as Steve Nash and Rose will go head-to-head in a very important game with playoff implications. According to NBA Odds makers at SPORTSBETTING.com, the Suns and Bulls have been projected to score a combined grand total of 217½ points in tonight’s OVER/UNDER.
“He's already a phenomenal player, and I see him continuing to improve,” Nash said of Rose. “On a night like (that), he can play at a level that few players can play at.”
