There will be no Cinderella story this year with only top seeded Kansas vs Memphis meeting in the NCAA basketball championship game tonight at 9:15 ET. Memphis opened as the slight -1 point favorite or Pick'em but the betting money has moved all over Memphis pushing the line to Memphis Tigers at -2 at most sportsbooks. It is a good omen for Memphis to be a small -2 favorite as favorites of 5 or less in NCAA basketball championship games are a perfect 10-0 SU and ATS in their last 10 games. Kansas will be challenged by a high tempo Memphis offense that has a deadly weapons in Chris Douglass-Roberts and Derrick Rose who have been on fire. Kansas plays in your face defense and they are up to the challenge of slowing down Rose and Douglass-Roberts. Memphis and Kansas have been great bets thus far for the bettors who took the +650 odds that were offered on Memphis and the +500 on Kansas to win the NCAA basketball championship before the tournament started. Both of these teams have looked outstanding in their most recent outings with Kansas shutting down North Carolina’s offense for much of their game, while Memphis outquicked and out rebounded UCLA in an all-around performance.
