The madness comes to a conclusion… tonight Monday April 7, 2008 the Kansas Jayhawks (36-3) will battle it out against the Memphis Tigers (38-1) for all the marbles at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, TX. The game will be seen nationwide on the CBS network in primetime at 9:21pm ET (scheduled tip-off). The two No. 1 seeded teams have had a long journey and both have defeated some admirable opponents. Memphis is a -2 point favorite with O\U at 148 points for the 2008 NCAA championship basketball game.

Many people including experts are calling this year’s NCAA championship game  a lackluster one. The UNC Tar Heels were the hands down the favorites to win it all for the entirety of the season as well as the post-season. But, Kansas had other plans. The Jayhawks cruised to an 18-pt victory over the Heels, and could be the ones cutting down the net tonight at around 11:30 pm ET.
