Trail Blazers vs Mavericks Odds 2011 NBA Playoffs Game 1: The sixth-seeded (0-0) Portland Trail Blazers [+5] will face off against the third-seeded, Sports Betting Odds favorite (0-0) Dallas Mavericks [-5] on Saturday night starting at 9:30 PM ET (8:30 PM CT/6:30 PM PT) in a Western Conference first round battle of the 2011 NBA playoffs.
The NBA Odds underdog Trail Blazers will hope to reach the second round of the playoffs this year, for the first 
time since 2000. Last year, Portland found them selves in a similar position as the sixth-seed, but lost to the Phoenix Suns in six games in the first round.
In order for the Blazers to make it through and fight off the Mavericks they will need the help of some key players that have helped them get to where they are now.
"It's a great accomplishment for this team and all (the players) had to go through — different guys having to fill in and make adjustments because of all our injuries," McMillan said. "Guys stepped in and played good basketball and gave us an opportunity to play in the postseason. Now we're there. The next goal is to get out of the first round."
After Brandon Roy began to miss games due to a knee injury, All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge stepped in and was able to lead his team in scoring with 21.8 points per game.
