And sure enough, for the second time on Saturday, the dog stole home court advantage by winning on the road. Earlier that day, the underdog Chicago Bulls stole one one from the Boston Celtics.

Six players reached double-figures as the Mavericks defeated the Spurs 105-97 in Game-One of their playoff series on Saturday. The Mavericks won the game as a 4-point underdog, while the 202 points sailed OVER the posted total of 187.5. Josh Howard led the Mavericks with 25 points and four rebounds. Tim Duncan netted a game-high 27 points to go with nine rebounds in the loss for the Spurs. The Mavericks win was the first road playoffs victory in three years.

“I thought we battled extremely hard even in the first half when things weren’t going particularly well," said Mavericks Coach Rick Carlisle following Saturday's upset victory. "They threw a wave of good defense and good offense at us in the first quarter. You get down 13 in the first game and you’re going to have to pull it together and fight back and we did."

Gamblers should expect San Antonio to bounce back
with a good game on Monday. Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich is a master at preparing his team and losing game one will not be taken lightly. Popovich will not let his team get down too low either. The Spurs are an experienced team and know how to handle adversity.

Monday's game will be televised on TNT.
