2009 NBA Playoffs: Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks Game 5

by Abe Luciano on Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

2009 NBA Playoffs Miami Heat (2-2) vs. Atlanta Hawks (2-2) Game 5: After giving up home court in game 2, the Atlanta Hawks regained it with a demoralizing 81-71 road victory at the Miami Heat’s house in game 4, evening out this best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

Game 5 of this exciting Eastern Conference First Round Series will be televised tonight on TNT-Sports, beginning at 8 PM ET (5 PM PT), as the Hawks look to protect their turf before going back to South Florida for Game 6.

2009 NBA Playoffs oddsmakers at SBGglobal.com are projecting tonight’s winner and here are their results in this: Miami Heat [+5½] vs. Atlanta Hawks [-5½] Game 5.

This of course means that, if you like the Hawks in this one, they would have to defeat the Heat by at least 6 points in order for you to win. If you like Miami, or if you think the Hawks will win however not by that many points, I suggest you play the Heat’s +5½ point cushion.]

The biggest concern for Miami, besides allowing a bum like Zaza Pachulia to stack up 18 rebounds in game 4, is the health of Dwayne Wade. Wade, who at times needed help from his teammates just to stand up, is bothered by back spasms. For all you Heat fans out there, Wade has already said he'll definitely play in Game 5.

Oh and by the way, the OVER/UNDER for tonight’s 2009 NBA Playoffs: Miami Heat vs. Atlanta Hawks Game 5, has been set at a combined total of 180 points scored
