Tuesday afternoon was a very special and emotional time for Kobe Bryant and his family, his teammates, and the entire Lakers organization. When finally announced (Tuesday), the Los Angeles Lakers superstar would be named the league's MVP everyone showed up at the Los Angeles Hotel to show their support, and pay their respect, to the player who has been the best in the world, for quite some time now. Consequently, None of this favors the Jazz’s chances of stealing home court from LA.

Wednesday evening the Utah Jazz will have to deal with an emotion, fired up Staples Center crowd as NBA Commissioner David Stern will be in attendance, to formally crown the 2008 Most Valuable Player: Kobe B. Bryant

The city of Los Angeles is absolutely crazy about this guy, and tonight they'll all have their chances to holler it and scream it, as KB24 will be immortalized in front of the eyes of 20,000+ loving fans. Expect the MVP KB to come out inspired and motivated to get this W.

I can almost assure that, the Utah Jazz have absolutely no chance of winning game 2 Wednesday night in Tensile Town.

Furthermore, if you like LA tonight, the fine folks at SBGglobal.com have the best line for you. The Los Angeles Lakers are a - 6 ½ (-105 reduced juice) points favorites in game 2 at home versus the Utah Jazz, and the O/U has been set at 210 combined total points.

With a motivated Kobe Bryant, who knows what can happen in a basketball game played in front of this LA crowd. Last time we’ve seen this guy get motivated (at home) what has he done?

Bryant outscored the entire Dallas Mavericks team by himself dropping 60+ in only 3 quarters played.

KB24 made history recording the second highest scoring performance in NBA history: 81 points against the Raptors.

The MVP put together string of a week’s worth of consecutive 50 pt games.

What will the newly crowned MVP do for an encore?

I trully do not know. This is a different Kobe Bryant: who’s not about scoring records, or one-man showings, nor showboating… this is now the epitome of a team player.

This, is now the worse thing that could have ever happened to the rest of the National Basketball Association… no prediction needed for this game.

Enjoy the show…
