Thunder vs Grizzlies Odds 2011 NBA Playoff Picks Game 3: With a tied Western Conference semifinals series against the (1-1) Oklahoma City Thunder [-6] and the Sports Betting Odds underdog (1-1) Minnesota Grizzlies [+6], both teams will look to find a way to take the lead in Game 3. The Grizzlies welcome the Thunder to the FedEx Forum, with tip-off scheduled at 5 PM ET and can be viewed on ESPN.
The start to this series began with a 114-101 win from the Memphis Grizzlies on the road, but Game 2 belonged
to Oklahoma City after they made some necessary adjustments. The main change in the game was the Thunder’s amped up aggressiveness throughout the quarters, which allowed them to reach a 21-point lead in the fourth. The NBA Odds favorite Oklahoma City held on to earn the 102-111 win.
NBA Predictions Thunder star Kevin Durant led his team with 26 points and James Harden also did his part coming off the bench with 21 points. Eric Maynor and Russell Westbrook made it a point to put in their two cents, as Westbrook ended with 24 points and Maynor with 15. Another adjustment made by the Thunder was how they double-teamed big-guys Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. In Game 2, Gasol was 3 of 19 for 13 points.
But now the NBA Picks Grizzlies are home and are hoping they can go back to what worked for them during Game 1, when Randolph went for 34 points. On their second outing Randolph scored just 15 points, hitting 2 of 13 from the floor. Memphis can surprisingly count on their fans to help them through, having sold out their first five postseason games. During the regular season, they were only able to sell out four games.
