2009 NBA Playoffs: Boston Celtics (1-1) vs. Orlando Magic (1-1) Game 3: With this series tied at one game apiece, things now shift over to the Magic Kingdom, as the Boston Celtics visit the Orlando Magic in Game 3 of the 2009 NBA Playoffs. With home court advantage now gone, Boston must go into the Amway Arena and take at least one of the next two games from Orlando, to level things out in this best-of-seven series.

Opening tipoff for tonight’s contest is scheduled for 7 PM ET (4 PM PT) and it will be broadcasted live, nationwide on ESPN.

2009 NBA Playoffs oddsmakers at SBGglobal.com have posted the best Sports Odds for tonight’s game: the Orlando Magic [-4½] have been listed as the Sports Odds-on favorites to be victorious in Game 3 of this 2009 NBA Playoffs series against the visiting Boston Celtics [+4½] tonight.

Going into Game 3, the Magic are very thin at the one, with Rafer Alston suspended and Jameer Nelson already injured. On Thursday, the league suspended Alston for slapping Eddie House in the back of the head.
As a result of the suspension, the Magic will put their faith on 34-yearold Anthony Johnson and Tyronn Lue to run the offense. The OVER/UNDER set forth in tonight’s 2009 NBA Playoffs: Boston Celtics vs. Orlando Magic Game 3 was calculated to be a combined total of 189 points scored on the board at night’s end.

"It is not an easy thing to raise your intensity level and keep your composure and emotions under control,” Magic coach Stan Van Gundy said. "But it is going to take both of those for us to win this series.”

For the Celtics, coach Doc Rivers is pleased about how his team has been able to keep their composure even when emotions are sky-high. "But I'm really happy with Eddie, how he handled himself,” Rivers said. "You can tell yourself 100 times you're going to control yourself. All you can do as a coach is keep reminding them of it and the consequences."
