The Detroit Pistons will try and even up the Eastern Conference Finals tonight as they host the Boston Celtics.  The Pistons did not play well on Saturday as they lost at home, giving the Celtics their first road win in the playoffs.  The Pistons shot terribly in the first half and dug a hole too deep to get out of.  Richard Hamilton, Chauncey Billups and Tayshaun Prince were 3-17 in the first half on Saturday and the Celtics built a 50-32 lead.  The Pistons made a rally but fell short, losing 94-80.  They must find a way to start stronger and to get Billups to either play better or sit on the bench.  Billups has stubbornly said he can play but backup Rodney Stuckey has been the better player.  Stuckey had 17 points in Game Three and head coach Flip Saunders said the team may turn to him sooner on Monday if Billups fails. “I think we’ve got to play him somewhere,” Saunders said. “Whether we have three guards in at a time or whatever, but he has been one of our most effective players. He’s been competitive, he’s done everything, he’s done a good job defensively and I guess my surprising point has been just how he’s had so much composure.”

SBG Global reports that early NBA betting has the public taking Pistons at Home.

SBG Global Opening Line: Pistons  - 5.5 , Total  174

The Pistons know they must starter stronger than they did on Saturday. “My philosophy has always been you’ve got to win the first three minutes of each quarter and the last three, and if you win those 24 minutes in the game, usually you’re going to win the game.” Saunders said, “We’re getting off to such bad starts, we’re getting down 8‑0, 10‑2, then all of a sudden you’re falling behind.”

SBG Global Current Line: Pistons  - 6 , Total  176
