Richard Jefferson dumps Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols on Eve of Wedding: Richard Jefferson has made it public that he dumped his fiancee, Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols, through an email, just days before their massive, multi-million dollar wedding.

The new San Antonio Spurs' forward reportedly, did not make his friends aware of the broken engagement until two hours before the actual ceremony. However, don’t feel too bad for his fiance Kesha (former Nets dancer), as Jefferson decided to try and clean up some of the mess by giving her a “six-figure” settlement... Chi-Ching!

"I'm not trying to buy her off. She has a lump sum to help her move on," explained the former Nets and Bucks star, who was traded to San Antonio last month.

Jefferson shared his cold-feet experience in recent phone interview, saying, “There was a lot of stress and tension in the relationship. We've been through a lot -- but we just couldn't continue," he stated.

According to Jefferson, the email was written after they had a tough 4th of July weekend. When asked about how he ended things, Jefferson admitted “Sometimes you might write an e-mail to get your thoughts down right."

The exclusive wedding was set to take place on July 11th at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City topping it off with a honeymoon in London where they had tickets to see one of Michael Jackson’s comeback shows.

The way in which the fairytale ended left a lot of people speculating about longtime rumors about Jefferson's sexual preferences. He insisted that he's not gay and that had nothing to do with their split. "I'm not gay," Jefferson said in a recent interview. "That couldn't be any further from the truth. I have nothing to hide."
