Duke has started the season by winning its first four games an average of 35 points before facing Arizona State on Wednesday. Holding the Red Devils to 38% from the field, Duke prevailed, 64-53 thanks in part to 43 combined points from Jon Scheyer, Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler in a 64-53 victory.
“A championship here would mean a lot,” said Scheyer. “this is like a Final Four or a Sweet 16 because you play two games in three days against two good teams. We’ll be ready and so will they.”
