San Antonio Spurs (25-12) at Houston Rockets (20-19)
Saturday, 8:35 pm Eastern – NBA-TV

NBA Picks: San Antonio Spurs at Houston Rockets SBG Global Opening Line: Spurs  -1 , Total 180.5

The Rockets are coming off a bad loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday as they blew a 12 point lead and lost 111-107. "We acted like the game was over starting the fourth quarter," Rockets coach Rick Adelman said. "We're not good enough to act like the game is over. You don't take care of the ball and they beat us to the basket time after time. It's really disappointing that we shot ourselves in the foot the whole fourth quarter."

SBG Global Current Line: Spurs  - 1 (-105) , Total 180.5

The Spurs are coming off a 90-88 loss to Cleveland on Thursday.  That was the fifth loss in the last 10 games for the Spurs. "We'll just keep pounding at it," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "We'll keep watching film and looking at what we want to do and people will have to do it better because right now we don't have too many people doing what we want them to do very consistently."  San Antonio has struggled on the road losing five of their last six games. "Hopefully we go out on the road and we are able to focus on basketball and really jell as a team," said Tim Duncan, "We have everybody back and everybody healthy and it's about time for us to start doing that."

Here are the NBA betting stats for Saturday’s game.  The Spurs are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 Saturday games. The Spurs are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. the Southwest. The Spurs are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Spurs are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings between the two teams but the road team is 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings.

The Rockets are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Rockets are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 vs. the Southwest.

The Under is 5-1 in the Spurs last 6 road games. The Under is 12-3 in the Spurs last 15 vs. the Southwest. The Over is 4-1 in the Spurs last 5 Saturday games. The Under is 12-5 in the Spurs last 17 overall.

The defending champion San Antonio Spurs and runner-up Cleveland Cavaliers meet for the first time since last year’s NBA Finals.  The series last year was really never close as the Spurs won their fourth title in nine years.  This season the Spurs look like they will challenge for the NBA title again while the Cavaliers are starting to look like a contender. NBA Betting Preview
Cleveland Cavaliers (20-18) at San Antonio Spurs (25-11)
Thursday, 8:05 pm Eastern – TNT

SBG Global Opening Line: Spurs  - 8 , Total 183

On Tuesday night, LeBron James scored a season-high 51 points, including a combined 25 in the fourth quarter and overtime as Cleveland topped Memphis 132-124.  "We have a fourth-quarter team right now that's playing really good basketball," said James, "We didn't get stops like we usually get, but for some odd reason, we know how to execute on the offensive end. We make plays, and we make big plays." James is averaging 40.3 points, 9.6 rebounds and 7.6 assists in his last three road games.

SBG Global Current Line: Spurs  - 8 , Total 183

San Antonio is a league-best 19-3 at home, holding opponents to 89.4 points per game. "You have to hope that people will keep shooting their shots and we keep getting open shots," San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich. "Sometimes they don't go in but you can't let that make your defense go sour."  The Spurs are coming off an 89-82 win over Philadelphia on Monday. Manu Ginobili scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter in the win.

Here are the NBA betting stats for Thursday’s game. Cleveland won both of their regular season games last year with San Antonio.
