Sophomore guard Doron Lamb led the Wildcats with 22 points, including back to back three-pointers that put them upby 16 with 10 minutes left in the second half. Kansas fought hard closing the deficit to 6 before the Wildcats held them off for the win. Kentucky’s star freshman Anthony Davis had a bad shooting night but was fantastic off the glass pulling down 16 rebounds.
