Georgia vs Nebraska Pick 2013 Capital One Bowl Point Spreads

capital one bowl logoThe No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs and No. 16 Nebraska Cornhuskers are slated for a major showdown in tomorrow’s 2013 Capital One Bowl. The game between the two college football powers is scheduled to get underway at 1:00pm ET at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando; it will be broadcast live on ABC. 2013 Capital One Bowl Point Spreads are favoring Georgia as a -9 pick against the spread while the Over/Under is coming in at 60.5 points.

Georgia vs Nebraska Pick (+/-9, Over/Under 60.5): Mark Richt’s Georgia Bulldogs won the SEC East title for a second straight season, posting a 7-1 record against conference opposition, but they came up short, once again, in the SEC Championship Game. The Bulldogs fell 28-32 to Alabama in the championship clash, a loss which snapped a six game winning streak and dropped their record to 11-2 for the season. Georgia is expected to recover, though, and at the expense of the 10-3 Huskers. Nebraska had several great moments and scintillating wins this season, beating teams like Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Michigan State in dramatic fashion, but its bad moments were almost epic in nature. The Cornhuskers were destroyed 63-38 at Ohio State and they were utterly embarrassed in the Big Ten Championship game, falling to an underachieving Badgers squad 70-31. Those two setbacks make it difficult to back Nebraska in this contest as do the number of close calls it experienced en route to its impressive record. Capital One Bowl Betting Trend: Take the Bulldogs -9. Nebraska is 0-4 both straight up and against the spread as an underdog with a spread between 8 and 10.5 points.
