American Idol 2010 Week 4 Eliminations & Predictions: Things have changed up in Week 4 for American Idol now that the Final 12 has been chosen. Before, the girls would sing on Tuesdays, the guys on Wednesdays, and the eliminated would be booted off on Thursdays. Now, there are no longer girls and guys night as the two have molded into one night (Tuesdays) competing for the American Idol title. Tonight at 9 PM EST we’ll see one American Idol hopeful eliminated and sent home. Go to BODOG.com for all of your current odds for your American Idol favorite.
Yes, it’s that time of the week where millions will be tuning in to see which American Idol contestant will be sent packing and their dreams stomped on. It’s up to America to choose who stays and who goes but I sometimes wonder what those voters are thinking.
Last night we heard the hits of the Rolling Stones coming alive on the American Idol ever so famous stage. I’ve said it time and time again that two of the American Idol favorites, Crystal Bowersox (7 to 4 odds) and Lee Dewyze (13 to 2 odds) will be serenading us once again in Week 5. I also fully expect to see Didi Benami (18 to 1o odds) and Michael Lynche (5 to 1 odds) back in the American Idol spotlight. I think the judges fully agree as well.
So who’s on the not so good list? Lacey Brown’s (40 to 1 odds) version of “Ruby Tuesday” was pitchy and flat in some parts so with that said, there’s a strong possibility that this girl might be going home. I know I sound like a broken record on this but I just don’t think that Tim Urban (40 to 1 odds) has what takes to be the winning American Idol. He did a reggae rendition of “Under My Thumb” and it was pitchy throughout his performance as well. The judges agreed with Simon saying, “I have to applaud you for doing something different. Having said that, it didn’t work.”
Finally, and I can’t believe I’m saying this but it seems as though Andrew Garcia (10 to 1 odds) had yet another not so great week. He sang “Give Me Shelter” and I just wasn’t in love with it. Randy stated, “You know I love you right? It was just pitchy everywhere. It wasn’t great.” But Andrew just might make it through seeing that Ellen believes in him, “What do I know? I thought that was your best performance yet. I loved it!”
I guess we’ll see who America voted for and who they didn’t vote for tonight. You can get all the up to date odds on your favorites at Bodog.com :
