Buzz Aldrin Dancing With The Stars Odds Season 10: Dancing with the Stars will be airing Season 10 live 8 PM EST next Monday with a 2-hour premiere.  This year they’ll be adding the oldest celebrity to date, Buzz Aldrin, who is known for being the second person to step foot on the moon following Neil Armstrong.  You can get all of you current Dancing with the Stars odds at BODOG.com.

Dancing With The Stars Season 10:  Buzz AldrinBorn Edwin Eugene Aldrin, Jr., Buzz who got the nickname from his sisters made it his legal first name in 1988.  This 80 year old started his career as an Air Force pilot and later became an astronaut of the Lunar Module on Apollo 11 where he spent 12 days, 1 hour and 52 minutes in space.  He later wrote two biographies, “Return to Earth” and “Magnificent Desolation” in which he shared his struggles with clinical depression and alcoholism years following his NASA career.

An avid promoter for space exploration, he produced a computer strategy game called “Buzz Aldrin’s Race Into Space” as well as the production of “Rocket Experience” a rap single and video with such stars as Snoop Dogg and Quincy Jones.  The proceeds of the production sales benefited his non-profit organization, ShareSpace.  With all that he’s accomplished in his life, this astronaut will be adding Dancing with the Stars contestant to his already impressive resume.
