Unfortunately, Lacey Brown didn’t have what it takes to be the next American Idol. She sang her last song last week and this week there will be yet another leaving the show. Tonight the contestants will be singng their hearts out for America in hopes of getting enough votes to avoid elimination.
I know I say this ever week but I’m sticking to my two favorites, Crystal Bowersox (7 to 4 odds) and Lee Dewyze (11 to 2 odds). Last week was all about the Rolling Stones and I'm just hoping they'll be doing just as good with "Billboard No. 1 Hits". Yup, that's the theme for tonight's show and Miley Cyrus will appear as guest mentor on American Idol.
The one that’s surprising to me is Slobhan Magnus who’s come in as one of the favorites with 3 to 1 odds. The judges seem to really like her and she brings an Adam Lambert type of a feel to Season 9. I just hope she doesn’t over do it.
Even though I agree with America when it came to sending Lacey Brown home, I still think Paige Miles (50 to 1 odds) might be next if it’s not Tim Urban first (40 to 1 odds). We’ll have to see if they step it up to dig themselves out of the hole they’re in.
