American Idol 2010 Final 10 Odds, Usher Mentors: It’s that time of the week to see which contestant on the 9th season of American Idol will bring their best to millions of viewers. The Final 10 have been chosen with Paige Miles exiting the show last week and guaranteed the remaining to be in the American Idol 2010 Tour this summer. This week has brought R&B singer, Usher to American Idol to be this week’s mentor and performer. Yup, the contestants had to choose an R&B song to perform tonight in front of a live audience. I think this will be an easy one for Michael “Big Mike” Lynche (13 to 2 odds) since he’s been able to bring a little R&B twist to the songs he’s performed thus far. I’m really looking forward in seeing if Lee Dewyze (7 to 1 odds) will do a rocker style play on an R&B favorite. However, the one that I’m most excited about seeing is Crystal Bowersox (5 to 4 odds) who hinted last week that she would be singing solo minus the guitar.
One of the contestants that I feel might have a few kinks with this challenge will be Tim Urban (100 to 1 odds) who really hasn’t been making the grade and slide into the Top 10 by a hair. I’m also curious to see how well Slobhan Magnus (7 to 2 odds) does with this one and I really hope she doesn’t go overboard with that high-pitched thing she does. The one that I’m rooting for to get back on track would have to be Andrew Garcia (25 to 1 odds) who’s been trying to get back to that “great” moment he had earlier in the competition.
