American Idol 2010 Week 7 Eliminations & Predictions: It’s that time of the week that the Final 9 of American Idol will be sized down to the Final 8. Last night brought out the 60’s for the contestants when they had to sing a song from The Beatles playlist. Although Paul McCartney himself couldn’t be there to mentor, most of the contestants seemed to have done great. Of course there always has to be the ones lacking the rhythm. This week Aaron Kelly along with Tim Urban could both be in the bottom three. The wildcard I think will be Andrew Garcia who just didn’t do as good as last week’s performance. The other wildcard is also Siobhan Magnus who comes in at 9 to 2 odds.
The ones that I think are definitely staying are the ones that keep rocking it out week after week. 1 to 1 odds favorite Crystal Bowersox keeps giving us her best and the judges can’t seem to find anything wrong with her. Ellen stating, “With you, the only think I have to worry about is a new way to tell you how good you are.”
Adding to the “not going home” list is 3 to 1 odds favorite Lee Dewyze who can sing to me any day of the week. Michael Lynche who comes in at 8 to 1 odds did great as well with his soulful rendition of “Elenor Rigby”. Casey James (7 to 1 odds) brought on his best performance last night with “Jealous Guy” and he’ll be one of the safe ones tonight. Finishing off the list is Katie Stevens (40 to 1 odds) who has had some problems in past weeks but I truly believe that America will keep her around for another week.
