Dancing With The Stars 2010 Evan Lysacek Continues To Wow Judges: Last night on Dancing with the Stars proved to be a very tough night for the celebrity contestants. “Passion Night” entailed double scoring and the dancers would be judged on their technique and performance. Week 4 of Dancing with the Stars switched it up for the remaining celebrity dancers when they had to dance the Tango or the Rumba with certain steps they had to accomplish and the judges weren’t giving out sympathy votes. Still going strong was 3 to 2 odds favorite Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya who danced the Tango were the scoreboard leaders with a total of 52 points (Technique 26 points/Performance 26 points) from the judges. Bruno stating, “Strong and Vibrant. You hit those details spot on.” You can be sure this couple isn’t going anywhere this week.
Another good performance came from Pamela Anderson (20 to 1 odds) when she showed a softer and slower side in the Rumba with partner Damian Whitewood. Her total score of 47 points (Technique 23 points/Performance 24 points) with the judges should keep her safe but then again anything can happen when it’s left up to voters. 1 to 1 odds favorite Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough played by the rules this week and danced the Rumba. The judges caught on really quickly that this Pussycat Doll was a bit nervous on the dance floor. Hopefully she can shake off those nerves and remain one of the high earning point leaders.
The bottom of course would have to be Kate Gosselin (50 to 1 odds) who continues to whine instead of practicing her steps. She danced the Tango with partner Tony Dovolani and the judges thought she made a slight improvement giving her a total of 32 points. I’m wondering if America will finally see the light and send her packing. Aiden Turner (25 to 1 odds) and partner Edyta Sliwinska was another team who brought in low scores when the judges only gave them a total of 33 points for their Rumba. I hope voters came through to keep this pair safe for another week.
