DWTS Season 10: Week 4 Predictions & Eliminations

by Rachel Quinn on Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

DWTS Season 10 Week 4 Predictions & Eliminations: Tonight at 8 PM EST on ABC another Dancing with the Stars celebrity will be sent home. Will the lowest scoring couples get enough votes from viewers to be saved for another week? Go to BODOG.com to get all of your current Dancing with the Stars odds.

“Passion Night” of Dancing with the Stars brought on some challenges for the dancers. Not only were they required to do certain steps for the Rumba and the Tango but they were also were receiving two scores – Technique and Performance. The usual great performances came from 3 to 2 odds favorite Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya who received a total of 52 points (Technique 26 points/Performance 26 points) with their Tango. 1 to 1 odds favorite Nicole Scherzinger who earned 50 points brought in a good but nervous performance of the Rumba with Derek Hough. One who made somewhat of an improvement was Chad Ochocinco who also danced the Rumba with partner Cheryl Burke. Chad coming in at 10 to 1 odds had a total score of 44 points (Technique 21 points/Performance 23 points) by the judges. I think he’ll stick around for another week as I’m sure the viewers enjoy his good looks and great sense of humor.

The ones to be worried about their future on Dancing with the Stars would have to be Aiden Turner (25 to 1 odds) and partner Edyta Sliwinska who tried to impress judges with their Rumba but in the end was only given at total of 33 points. I’m really hoping that voters give this couple another chance to show America what they’ve got. The lowest scoring couple with 32 total points was the obvious – Kate Gosselin (50 to 1 odds) . She danced the Tango with Tony Dovolani and did better than previous weeks but I just don’t think she has what it takes to get through this competition. I really hope voters won’t jump on the Kate Gosselin bandwagon to keep her here for another week. Finishing off the possible bottom three could be The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka (20 to 1 odds) who had a good start with the Tango but tripped a bit on the dance floor with partner Chelsie Hightower. The judges still gave him a total of 38 points but I wonder if voters will be as forgiving.
