DWTS Season 10 Week 5 Predictions & Eliminations: Dancing with the Stars will be sending another celebrity home tonight at 8 PM EST. Last night on Dancing with the Stars was “Movie Night” and the contestants danced to songs of the biggest motion pictures. With 8 teams remaining, the competition is starting to get harder and the judges aren’t getting nicer. So who is safe? I think the obvious is Nicole Scherzinger (5 to 4 odds) who danced the Tango with partner Derek Hough and received two perfect 10s totaling 29 points. Another obvious is Evan Lysacek (1 to 1 odds) and Anna Trebunskaya who danced the Rumba and received a 27 point total. Jake Pavelka (25 to 1 odds) also did a good job last night doing Tom Cruise in “Risky Business” with partner Chelsie Hightower and earned a total of 23 points.
The bottom point earners with the judges last night was of course Kate Gosselin (50 to 1 odds) who only brought in 15 points with partner Tony Dovolani after their Fox Trot of “The Breakfast Club”. She just doesn’t bring anything to the dance floor. If only she actually listened to the judges constructive criticism. I’m very hopeful that this week will be the week that Kate will be sent packing.
Another celebrity who had low numbers with the judges was Niecy Nash (50 to 1 odds) and partner Louis Van Amstel with their Jive of “La Bamba”. I actually thought it was a cute performance and loved the part in the end when Niecy landed a huge red kiss in the middle of judge Len’s forehead. But in the end they only earned 18 points. Adding to the 18 point total is Chad Ochocinco (8 to 1 odds) with his Quickstep of “The Jungle Book” with partner Cheryl Burke. We’ll have to see tonight if one of the bottom 3 with the judges will be one of those going home.
