All week American Idol's final five contestants have been preparing to perform "Rat Pack Standards" when they take the stage Tuesday night. The "Rat Pack" was a group of entertainers consisting of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Peter Lawford who hung out in Las Vegas in the mid-sixties and would often show up at the Sands Hotel and Casino and perform in an ensemble. Major female stars such as Shirley MacLaine, Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland would often join the rowdy group. 
This same group of male performers also comprised the cast of the original "Oceans 11" movie about a group of men who conspired and robbed all the major Las Vegas Casinos. You can find American Idol Odds for "Rat Pack" night at Sportsbook.com.
It should be plenty of fun for viewers to see who interprets and best performs in this Rat Pack theme.
For anybody who has followed this eighth season of American Idol knows, that Adam Lambert has set the talent bar very high and is considered a favorite who has distanced himself greatly from the most talented final group in the programs history. Online oddsmakers at Sportbook.com list Lambert's winning odds at -400 moneyline format. What this means is it would take a $400 wager to win $100 if he wins. The reason the price of the bet is so high is because he is handicapped as almost a lock to win.
The performer with the second best odds is Milwaukee, Wisc. church music director Danny Gokey at +300. In this case, a $100 bet would net you $300 in winnings if Gokey pulled an upset. Kris Allen of Conway, Ark., has the third best odds at +500 followed by Allison Iraheta at +1000 and Matt Giraud at +7500. At +7500 odds, we don't suppose fans of the show need a hint as to who will probably go home on Wednesday.
