American Idol 2010 Siobhan Magnus Sent Packin: What a night it was last night on the American Idol stage. There were great performances from some popular country singers but someone still had to go home. Go to BODOG.com to get all of your current American Idol odds.
The night started out with the Rascal Flatts performing “Unstoppable”. The other performances came later in the hour with Carrie Underwood introducing “Next American Band” winner Sons of Sylvia who sang “Love Left to Lose” . Multiple award-winning band, Lady Antebellum also got on the American Idol stage with their hit “Need You Now”. Rounding out the star-studded performances was Shikara singing “Gypsy” with the Rascal Flatts. Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas got on the Idol stage to promote the movie Shrek – The Final Chapter in which Ryan Seacrest had a three line role in.
It wasn’t all about great performances last night since one American Idol would have to go home. A crazy 33 million votes came in after Tuesday night’s performances from the Idols. It came down to who would be in the bottom three and who would be in the top three. Not being a shock, Tim Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox were safe but the shocker was Aaron Kelly being added to that group. Siobhan Magnus and Big Mike were added to the bottom three but the shocker there was Casey James was added to that bottom three as his performance of “Don’t” by Shania Twain was one of the best in Tuesday night’s performances. Big Mike was announced safe and in the end the wild card, Siobhan Magnus went home.
Tune in next week when Harry Connick Jr. comes to American Idol to mentor the remaining contestants with the songs of Sinatra. You can get all the up to date odds on your favorites at Bodog.com:
Aaron Kelly 30/1
