Legendary "Guns 'N' Roses" and current "Velvet Revolver" guitarist Slash will be in the house at American Idol as mentor to the four finalist for Rock 'N' Roll week. Things should be hoppin' and boppin' when the final-four take to the stage for what looks to be the most exciting theme-night this season.
Lambert is listed best on the Sportsbook.com betting board at -300 moneyline odds followed by Danny Gokey at +200, Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen both at +800.
Viewers were shocked when show favorite Lambert was in the bottom two following Rat Pack Standards week however; oddsmakers were unfazed by the lower vote re-installing the Southern California kid as heavy favorite for rock week.
"If there is any theme that Lambert should excell in then Rock 'N' Roll is it," said Sports-Odds.com handicaper Reno Gold. On MySpace Slash said, Hey All, as you may or may not know, the producers for American Idol have asked me to be the mentor for 'Rock Week' next week. I was reluctant at first, but they offered me the freedom to do it however I wanted."
