American Idol 2010: Eliminations & Predictions Week 11

by Rachel Quinn on Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

American Idol 2010 Eliminations & Predictions Week 11: It’s that time of the week where we’ll see one more American Idol sent home. Who will be the one sent home in Week 11? Go to BODOG.com to get all of the current odds on your American Idol favorites.

Last night American Idol had some good performances and some ok performances. But with the competition getting tougher and tougher each week, the Idol contestants have no room for error. Not only did Harry Connick Jr. mentor the contestants but he also accompanied them on the stage playing the piano. One of the best performances of the night was from Big Mike Lynche who’s coming in at 15 to 1 odds. His performance of Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight” wowed the judges. The other great performance came from 2 to 1 odds favorite Lee Dewyze and he’s definitely the one to beat after he sang “That’s Life”.

The judges didn’t think 4 to 7 odds Crystal Bowersox’s performance last night of “Summer Wind” was her best but I don’t think she has anything to worry about tonight. Although I continue to question why America is keeping Aaron Kelly in the competition, I’m curious to see how much longer they’ll vote for him. The wildcard for the week is Casey James who comes in at 8 to 1 odds. He brought in a great performance last week but his performance in Week 11 with “Blue Skies” just wasn’t up to par. The judges definitely weren’t impressed and that could mean America wasn’t either.

Tune in tonight at 9 PM EST on Fox to see Harry Connick Jr. perform as well as Lady Gaga and one more American Idol contestant will be going home. You can get all the up to date odds on your favorites at Bodog.com:

Aaron Kelly 15/1
Casey James 8/1
Crystal Bowersox 4/7
Lee Dewyze 2/1
Michael Lynche  15/1
