Week 8 of the 2010 Dancing with the Stars brought the remaining five couples another week of having to learn and perform two dances in the 2-hr special of the show. Erin Andrews (10 to 1 odds) earned her first 10 paddle score with her Argentine Tango. Len, who gave her that 10 stated, ”Erin you dirty dirty girl. I absolutely loved it.” Erin received another set of good scores in her 80’s inspired Rumba in which gave her a total night’s score of 53 points from the judges. Evan Lesnick (6 to 5 odds) has never been one to disappoint and brought in another good set of combined scores of 53 total score with both his Waltz and futuristic Cha Cha. 10 to 11 odds Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough rounded out the night of great contenders when she received the second perfect score of 30 in the season with her 1950’s inspired Paso Doble. Her first dance of the Fox Trot brought in great scores as well earned the couple a total of 59 points for Week 8.
75 to 1 odds Niecy Nash has really been getting through just by a hair as she hasn’t really been keeping up with the remaining contestants. Could it be that her show “The Insider” is helping her to get the votes needed to stay in the competition? I’m sure she’ll be in the bottom two after her okay performance of the Viennese Waltz as well as a so-so dance of her 90’s inspired Paso Doble in which earned her a total of 43 points from the judges. Although I love Chad Ochocinco (7 to 1 odds) and his funny personality, I’m afraid he’ll be the wildcard of the week after he earned a total of 45 points from the judges after his performances of the Tango and 60’s inspired Jive.
