Tuesday at American Idol it's Judges Choice night. The final three contestants, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen will perform two songs; one chosen by the judges and one of their own choice. One thing is guaranteed; the judges choice will be challenging. A slip-up by any of the final three could mark the end.
So Who will be the final two standing in this eighth season of American Idol? In this contest nothing is "for sure" but oddsmakers at online super-sportsbook Bodog list Adam Lambert as 1/3 favorite to win American Idol.
Odds on Danny Gokey winning are 3/1 and Kris Allen 5/1. Here's how it works. To win $100 betting on Lambert you would have to put up $300 at 1/3 odds. A $100 bet on Gokey would net you $300 (3/1) and a $100 bet on Allen would net you $500 (5/1). So based on these odds, it does not look good for Kris Allen.
Last week Bodog oddsmakers least favorite to win the contest was Allison Iraheta at 8/1 odds. And sure enough those Bodog oddsmakers were correct as Allison said farewell. Of course these are gambling odds and not guaranteed numbers. That's why it's gambling.
