t’s that time of week once again to see yet another American Idol contestant sent home. But with the competition getting harder and harder to judge, I’m wondering who will be going home in Week 12. I’m sure I don’t have to announce this but 1 to 1 odds favorite and only female standing, Crystal Bowersox won’t be going anywhere this week and I’m happy to say that we’ll be seeing this star coming back in Week 13. Her rendition of Kenny Loggin’s “I’m Alright” was the only performance that received good praise from the judges and for good reason as this Janis Joplin look alike has been a favorite all season. Although 1 to 1 odd favorite Lee Dewyze didn’t bring his best this week, I expect to see this cutie make it thru for another week.
Michael “Big Mike” Lynche has always been one of my favorites but I have to put him as the wildcard in Week 12 of eliminations. At 15 to 1 odds, Big Mike sang Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There” and it just wasn’t the right song to impress. The one who could be sent home is 10 to 1 odds Casey James who hasn’t been bringing his best in past weeks as well as tonight with his performance Simon & Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson”.
