Carrie Prejean Attends Michael Phelps Swimming Competitions? The all-time record holder for most gold medals in Olympic competition, Michael Phelps, is once again ready to take a dive in swimming competitions after a 9-month layoff.
Back in February, Phelps was suspended after pictures of him holding a marijuana-smoking instrument known as a bong surfaced all over the Internet. The pictures were allegedly taken at a party in Columbia, South Carolina.
"I did make a mistake. It was stupid," Phelps said. "There are also some important lessons that I've learned. It is all about recognizing that I used bad judgment and it's a mistake I won't make again."
The swimmer has recently made headlines again, after (Miss California) Carrie Prejean’s grandmother stated that the two were an item. In this picture you can see Phelps and Prejean out and about one night; and is it just me, or does Michael Phelps appears to be blasted there?!
Nevertheless, the question on everyone’s mind is, Will Carrie Prejean attend Michael Phelps Swimming Competitions?
The 23-year-old, Phelps, will compete for the first time this Friday at the Charlotte UltraSwim, where he is expected to swim in five events over three days.
"Deep down inside, I was the one who needed to decide what I was going to do, if I still had passion and still had drive to get back in the pool," Phelps said. "I still have four more years and then I'll be done… There are still more things out there that I want to do and that I can do to help change the sport, and that's why I'm back – because I want to do it."
Phelps is expected to compete in the 200-meter freestyle and 100-m butterfly on Friday, the 50-m freestyle and 100-m backstroke on Saturday and the 100 freestyle on Sunday. Will Carrie Prejean be there? Well, you’re just going to have to wait and find out!
