50 to 1 odds, Claire Schreiner is currently a senior at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she’s a Broadcast Journalism major. While attending the University, she’s the captain of the UNLV women’s track and field team as she earned her scholarship for that sport.
"I am really excited to have won," Claire Schreiner said after winning her Miss Wyoming title. "This is something I have wanted since I was a little girl. Having the Miss USA pageant in Las Vegas I think will be an advantage for me. I am looking forward to graduating in December and then concentrating on getting ready for Miss USA."
Claire Schreiner has loved all sports and interned for ESPN’s Kenny Mayne in hopes to one day become a sideline sports reporter for major sporting events. It was confirmed last September that Miss Wyoming has been dating Kathy Lee Gifford's son Cody for 7 months after Kathy Lee announced it on national television.
