+7500 Nadia Shirin Moffett has used her new title as Miss North Carolina to bring awareness to her community. Her main passion and purpose is to inspire young women to reach the full potential in their lives. By doing that, her mission is to expand the Make Me A Queen Foundation program to women across her state bringing empowerment, inspiration and growth among young women. She also plans to bring empowerment to women through the advocacy of Breast and Ovarian Cancer research.
At 24 years old, Miss North Carolina is a graduate of The University of North Carolina Greensboro where she received a degree in Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Information Technology. She currently is working for a Leadership Path Program for American Express Company where she is developing and engaging employees in career and performance development. Nadia is also currently the Vice President of Public Relations for Toastmasters International at American Express and is an active supporter and volunteer teacher for Junior Achievement in Greensboro working with Middle School students on Economics for Success.
