American Idol 2010 Lee Dewyze Rocks It In Judges’ and Finalist’s Choice: The pressure was on in Week 13 of American Idol and only one impressed the judges in both the “Judges’ Choice and Finalist’s Choice”. Go to BODOG.com to get all of the current odds on your American Idol favorites.
Okay, what can I say? Lee Dewyze has guaranteed his spot in the Top 2 after both of his performances tonight. He chose “Simple Man” by Lynard Skynard and the judges were floored. Simon stating, “That song was absolutely on the money. I don’t think you won Round 1, I think you crushed the other contestants”. Simon Cowell chose “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen for Lee and stole the night with his performance. Simon continued to comment, “I am very very very proud of you. Tonight after that performance, you proved that you deserve to be here.
I would say the second to have succeeded tonight in the 13th Week of American Idol was Crystal Bowersox who sang Melissa Etheridge’s “Come to my Window” and judges seemed pleased but not in awe. However, Ellen stated, “Melissa would be very proud of you.” Ellen also chose “Maybe I’m Amazed” by Paul McCartney and Simon stated after the performance, “I think you’ll be thanking Ellen for getting you to next week for the finale”.
Casey James didn’t seem to have such a great night after he chose “Ok, It’s All Right With Me” by Eric Hutchinson and the judges weren’t impressed. Randy stating, “It didn’t quite work for me”. Randy and Kara chose “Daughters” by John Mayer in round 2 for Casey and Simon still wasn’t impressed when he stated, “I think it was much better song choice but it was a bit lazy arrangement”.
We’ll have to see who America has chosen to stay and who will go home tonight at 9 PM EST on Fox. Also, tune in to see performances from Travis Garland and Justin Bieber. You can get all the up to date odds on your favorites at Bodog.com:
Casey James 10/1
