American Idol 2010: Crystal Bowersox Rocks The Finale

by Rachel Quinn on Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

American Idol 2010 Crystal Bowersox Rocks The Finale: The remaining two Idol contestants had to perform three songs – a song form one of their previous rounds, an executive producer Simon Fuller pick, and the song the contestant will release as a single should they win. Which two remaining contestants will be the winner of American Idol? Go to BODOG.com to get all of the current odds on your American Idol favorites.

I’m completely torn now on who will be the next American Idol. I think 2 to 5 odds Lee Dewyze has had a strong stance throughout the whole season of American Idol but his performances in the finale weren’t up to par. His first performance was Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer” in which he performed during “Inspiration Week”. His second performance was of R.E.M’s “Everybody Hurts” followed by U2’s “Beautiful Day”. Simon stated on one of his performances, “That was a kiss on the cheek when I’m wanting a kiss on the lips.”

19 to 10 odds Crystal Bowersox was the one who brought her best and she definitely rocked it for the finale week. She first sang her former Billboard #1 hit “Me & Bobby McGee” by Janis Joplin. She followed up her great performance of that song with Simon Fuller’s choice of “Black Velvet” and her “single” choice of “Up to the Mountain”.

Tune in tomorrow night at 8 PM EST on Fox for the 2-hour episode to see who will be announced as the winner of American Idol. You can get all the up to date odds on your favorites at Bodog.com:

Crystal Bowersox: 19/10
Lee Dewyze: 2/5
