American Idol 2010 Eliminations & Predictions Season Finale: What a night it was last night on the first part of the finale in which Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox performed their last three songs. Go to BODOG.com to get all of the current odds on your American Idol favorites.
I hate to say this cause I was in hopes that Lee Dewyze would win this competition but Crystal Bowersox truly rocked it and brought in her all in her last three performances. Coming in at 5 to 2 odds, Crystal chose her Billboard #1 Hit song “Me & Bobby McGee” to perform first. She then sang “Black Velvet” in which was a song that American Idol executive producer Simon Fuller pick for her and then ended her night with a song that would be her single should she win – “Up to the Mountain”.
1 to 4 odds Lee Dewyze just couldn’t seem to get it together in his performances last night. They weren’t bad but they just weren’t at the level of Crystal’s performances. Lee started the night with a song from Inspiration Week – Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Boxer”. I love that song but the judges thought it was a slow song choice for such a big night. Simon Fuller chose “Everybody Hurts” by R.E.M. and then Lee performed U2’s “Beautiful Day” as the song that would be his single should he win.
Tune in tonight at 8 PM EST to Fox for the 2-hour episode to see Simon Cowell bid farewell to American Idol, the Top 12 Idols all back together again as well superstar performances. We’ll also finally see who will be the next American Idol. You can get all the up to date odds on your favorites at Bodog.com:
Crystal Bowersox 5/2
Lee Dewyze 1/4
