Larry King’s Replacement Odds Show Katie Couric & Piers Morgan Co-Favorites: Larry King’s interview show “Larry King Live” on CNN will be ending after 25 years. Who will be chosen to replace the man that asked the questions nobody else would and be the new face of the show? Go to BODOG.com to get the best odds on the “Larry King Live” replacement.

There are reports that 2 to 1 odds favorite and “America’s Got Talent” judge Piers Morgan is already close to signing a deal with CNN to be the replacement of Larry King who will be leaving after a 25 year relationship with the network. He might be just what CNN needs since he is known to be a man that doesn’t sugar coat things. Another favorite is CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric. Although she is coming in as a 2 to 1 odds favorite, Katie showed low ratings after replacing Dan Rather on CBS and it’s been reported that she told CNN last month that she wasn’t interested.

Ryan Seacrest who is coming in at 7 to 2 odds is one of the faces of the popular show “American Idol”, “E! News” and he is now in the running to be the new face of CNN’s “Larry King Live”.  With already a full schedule, the question will be on whether he’ll be able to move things around. Should he take on the show, he would have to miss out on at least two nights a week of American Idol but just might have some extra time after he expressed that he probably won’t be signing another radio contract with KIIS-FM. However, Larry King seems to be a strong supporter of the “American Idol host.” Also at 7 to 2 odds is “The View” panelist and HLN host Joy Behar who is already familiar with “Larry King Live” after guest hosting for King in the past.  It could also help her chances with CNN after her show formerly known as CNN Headline News and CNN2 on HLN pulled in good ratings since 2009.

"I can't be objective because I don't know his feelings, his interest in politics, but Ryan Seacrest… he is curious, he is interesting, he is likable," Larry King said. "If he has a great interest in politics, I would recommend him."

One who already is involved with the CNN network is 360 host Anderson Cooper. But there have been reports that Cooper just might follow Larry King’s path and leave the network all together after reportedly being tempted with offers from other competing networks. It’s also been reported that the CNN journalist hasn’t seen eye to eye with executive producer David Doss on many occasions. We’ll have to see where this one goes in the months to come.
