Christian Bale Arrested for Assault on Mother and Sister: Christian Bale, also known as The Dark Knight, has been released on police bail after being questioned for four hours over alleged claims of assaulting his mother and his sister at a London hotel. Will Heath Ledger win an ocar "in a supporting role" for his performance as The Joker in the film The Dark Knight? 

Bale was arrested when he attended Belgravia police station to deny the reports on his family members accusations.

According to sources, Bale has been blamed of lashing out at his family members in an argument, and it was even rumored that he pushed one of them on Sunday night at Park Lane's Dorchester Hotel.

Christian Bale was in town for a screening of The Dark Knight in London's West End on Monday night. The Betting Odds that Heath Ledger WILL WIN an Oscar for his performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight are +120.  

The thirty-four year old Bale, has been put on bail until September and will be allowed to go back to his home in the United States. The Betting Odds that Heath Ledger WILL NOT WIN an Oscar fot his Joker performance in The Dark Knight are: -180.

Jenny Bale, or Christian Bale’s mother, was able to make a few vague statements regarding the accusations: "Yes I was there and yes there was a family situation but the police are handling it and I cannot say anymore at the moment…"We didn't call the police to the scene. I can't say anymore but we didn't call the police."

In spite of the allegations, Bale attended the first European screening of The Dark Knight on Monday night. The film made a new opening weekend record of $158.3 million at the US box office.
