20 to 1 odds, Margaret Cho made a name for herself doing stand-up comedy with her routines involving politics, race, sexuality, and sex as well as a hilarious imitation of her Korean mother. Aside from being one of the most successful comedians to date, Margaret has also made several appearances in hit TV shows including Sex and the City and Ghost Whisperer, a best selling author, and has added singing to the list of many things she does. Currently, she’s touring with Cho Dependent, a stand up comedy tour featuring new music from her comedy album.
“I love the show! It's so glamorous and exciting,” Margaret Cho said of why she decided to be on Dancing with the Stars. “It’s an honor to be asked and it's going to be thrilling to compete! Also, I want to wear the most sparkly thong imaginable.”
Margaret Cho will be teaming up with dance pro Louis Van Amstel and she’ll be entrusting his skills to keep her in the competition. It’ll be interesting to see what the pair will be dancing as Margaret tries to keep up.
