There were some celebs that impressed and there were some that fell short. The score leader so far with 24 points is 7 to 2 odds favorite and “Dirty Dancing” star Jennifer Grey who danced the Viennese Waltz with partner Derek Hough. Judge Bruno stated, “Baby is back where she belongs. A beautifully danced and beautifully acted performance.” Right behind the couple with 23 points are Brandy and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy who danced the Viennese Waltz and Kyle Massey with partner Lacey Schwimmer danced the Cha Cha Cha. Rick Fox and partner Cheryl Burke earned 22 points with their Viennese Waltz to Aerosmith’s “Crazy”.
Hanging out in the middle with points earned was the first to dance Audrina Patridge who’s coming in at 8 to 1 odds and performed the Cha Cha Cha with partner Tony Dovolani in which earned them 19 point from the judges. Also, with 19 points is former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner who danced the Viennese Waltz with Anna Trebunskaya. 18 points was awarded by the judges to Bristol Palin and partner Mark Ballas as well as Florence Henderson and partner Corky Ballas both doing the Cha Cha Cha.
The bottom Dancing with the Stars contestants started with comedian Margaret Cho who danced the Viennese Waltz with partner Louis Van Amstel earning them a total of 15 points. At 10 to 1 odds, Michael Bolton’s performance of the Viennese Waltz with partner Chelsie Hightower didn’t impress the judges and received 16 points. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino came out to the dance floor confident but the judges put him in his place after his dull performance of the Cha Cha Cha with partner Karina Smirnoff ending his evening with 15 points. 10 to 1 odds David Hasselhoff couldn’t impress the judges either with his dance of the Cha Cha Cha with Kym Johnson bringing in 15 points for their performance. Judge Carrie Ann commented, “It was very bizarre. You dance with your mouth more than your body.”
