Holly Madison confirms split from Playboy Hugh Hefner

by Abe Luciano on Thursday, October 9th, 2008

For several weeks now, rumors surrounding the personal love life of the Playboy himself, Hugh Hefner, have gone from bad to worse. According to various reports, Hef is now down to just 1 girlfriend, as another one of his “Girls Next Door” has kicked him to the curve. First, Kendra Wilkinson replaced the 82-year-old Playboy for the Philadelphia Eagles Wide Receiver Hank Baskett. Now, Holly Madison has allegedly also packed her bags and moved out of the Playboy Mansion, and out of her bedmate’s life.

This week, the Philadelphia Eagles travel to the Bay Area to take on the San Francisco 49ers, Sunday at 4 PM ET (1 PM PT). Will Kendra Wilkinson play the role of supporting girlfriend and attend the Eagles game at Candlestick Park in Frisco?

PlayboyAccording to odds-makers, Kendra’s Philadelphia Eagles are [-5] NFL Week 6 Sports Betting Odds favorites to win their game against the hosting San Francisco 49ers [+5].

Holly Madison is a 28-year-old model-actress, who shared more than Hef’s payroll with Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt. This is what Hef had to say: "if Holly says it's over, I guess it's over, she's still here in the house. Until a few days ago, we were still sharing the same bed. Even though Hefner admitted that he was surprised to hear Madison discussing their breakup, he did acknowledged that a split was imminent after he told Madison that they would never wed or have children.

Other reports indicate that perhaps the root of their break up, stems much deeper than what had been earlier indicated. According to PerezHilton.com, financial woes could be the real reasons behind Hef's break ups with Holly and Kendra?

“Reportedly teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, Hef has not only been forced to cut back on staffing, but now, in a bid to rake in some extra income, the public is now being invited to the exclusive Playboy Mansion parties…at $5,000 to $25,000 a ticket. If there's a hot celebrity on the guest list, expect a ticket in the higher range. What people don't know is that Hugh Hefner himself does not own the mansion – his company does. And yes, he pays rent on it. About $700,000 a year. Martha Lindeman – Playboy Enterprises’ senior vice president – said otherwise, of course. Apparently the Bunnies "are not even on the payroll. So, they would be the last to go."
