Chelsea will try and stay in the thick of the Soccer Betting Premier League title race as they host Middlesbrough on Sunday.  Chelsea will need a win since it is expected that Manchester United will be able to handle Aston Villa on Saturday. Chelsea will be hoping that John Terry and Frank Lampard can play on Sunday.  Terry was hurt in England’s friendly loss to France while Lampard had stomach cramps.  The good news for Chelsea is that they are expected to get goalkeeper Petr Cech back for the game although Carlo Cudicini has played well in relief.

Soccer Betting at SBG Global. Middlesbrough has had no success at Chelsea in recent visits.  They haven’t even scored a goal in their last five trips.  In the last six meetings between the two clubs Chelsea is 6-2 with two draws. Chelsea can’t afford any mistakes if they want to catch Manchester United.

"It's far from over," Chelsea’s Frank Lampard said, "Manchester United know that and we know that, but it's important that we try to win our games in the meantime before we play them. The win (over Arsenal) was very important. We were 1-0 down and, had we lost, we'd have been virtually out of the race. We knew that."
