Celtic football manager Gordon Strachan says he can´t even think about football and has called for fans to think about the family of Phil O'Donnell. The Celts are 11/10 to win the SPL.

The tragic death of the Motherwell skipper, formerly with Celtic for five years, has stirred all factions of Scottish football.

Celtic´s first-team boss Tommy Burns clinched the signature of O'Donnell for £2 million when he was Celtic manager. And reserve coach at Celtic, Willie McStay, who hails from O'Donnell's town of Hamilton, was a very close friend.

Strachan commented on the cancellation of the Celtic/Rangers clash, which came out of respect for O´Donnell: "I've no idea how we could play a game of football."Soccer manager Gordon Strachan shows grief

Celtic requested a postponement of the clash with Rangers after the squad met for the first time since O'Donnell collapsed.

O´Donnell collapsed with a suspected seizure while captaining Motherwell versus Dundee United.

The Scottish Premier League acted quickly following the support of Rangers. None of the players were keen to play so soon after the 35-year-old's death.

Celtic captain Stephen McManus and Strachan visited  Fir Park to lay flowers at a shrine that has been set up at the ground.
