Kendall Holt vs Ben Tackie Result. Tackie is no easy cookie win lose or draw but he did what he usually does when faced against a contender, went rounds and made some $$$ in a losing effort. For 10 rounds Holt moved and countered with single placement shots all night against the slow-footed African brick on his way to a 10 round UD. EinsteinPicks has a GUARANTEED winning bet on the Kelly Pavlik vs Jermain Taylor bout on Pay-per-view. BetUS.com had Kendall Holt as a -1100 boxing betting favorite. Tackie is always a decent take a flier bet with his durability and punch but he has lost more often of late. The fight started with both men displaying respect as each kept their distance and looked for single juiced up punches. Tackie is always dangerous as a right hand puncher, and Holt never has taken a good shot to the chops, so there was a little suspense. Holt began cranking in the occasional hooks off counterpunches in the 2nd round as Tackie used his usual bullish style of fighting to eat Holt’s occasional punches. This fight really didn’t have much action offensively with Tackie averaging 39.3 punches per round to Holt’s 35.7 punches Per. Rd. The output was far lower than the 140 Lb. Jr. Welterweight average of around 50 punches per round. BetUS.com had theOVER\UNDER at 9.5 rounds with the OVER at -500. The fight was pretty much what it was from start to finish. Holt moving and occasionally letting go of his jarring combinations off Tackie hittable face round after round. Holt is a nice boxer. On a 1-10 scale Holt is 7.5. He has the tools to be very good, but the questionable durability that makes him an unstable bet. As for Tackie he still can make money because he is durable and has good technique still. Watch out for a possible Kendall Holt vs Paulie Malignaggi bout in the future at some point. Brad Marchetti has connections in the boxing world. Ride the EinsteinPicks boxing money train that pays out in cold hard cash. Marchetti has a huge GUARANTEED winning play on the HBO telivised Paul Williams vs Carlos Quintana bout that is a GUARANTEED winning boxing bet.
