Williams last fight was 7 months ago when he defeated strong Mexican contender Antonio Margarito by a close decision. Puerto Rican Carlos Quintana is a classy southpaw boxer\counterpuncher that was stopped in the biggest fight of his career against Miguel Cotto in December of 2006. Quintana was 62-8 as an amateur and boxed on the well esteemed 1996 Puerto Rican Olympic team. Quintana, 24-1, 19 KO’s, has a snappy jab, good ring movement a solid chin and tight defense. Quintana has above-average power with a sharpshooting style of punching that scores points. Against Williams the 5'9" Quintana will have to figure out a way to hit his less seasoned but far taller foe, no easy task. I like Quintana and think the odds should be closer but I don’t think he can beat a “freak” like Williams. The question to me is: How long will this bout last?
