The Chad Dawson vs Glen Johnson Light Heavyweight fight scheduled for April 12th is right around the corner so I decided to sit down with "The Gentlemen" Glen Johnson to see how his training camp was going as the bout draws closer. The young 25-year old Dawson is the hot shot #5 contender as he looks to make a step up as he takes on the ageless 39-year-old Johnson who is the #4 ranked Light Heavyweight contender. BodogLife.com has Chad Dawson as a -325 boxing betting favorite in Chad Dawson vs Glen Johnson. Fightcapper has the connections to put you in the big boxing money. Win consistently with the Brad Marchetti Fight Capper package for only $99.99.

Q: Glen all the "celebrity" boxers such as Roy Jones Jr., Antonio Tarver and Bernard Hopkins have hid and avoided you like the plague. Why do you think Dawson chose to take you on?

A: Well I guess everybody has turned the fight with Dawson down so they turned to me, old faithful (chuckle).

Glen Johnson Boxer InterviewQ: They have you as a 3-1 underdog at the Las Vegas books Glen. How does that make you feel?

A: Well it just shows me what I have to do to get respect. I am going to make somebody betting on me a lot of money.

Q: Do you see any weakness in Chad Dawson that you plan to expose?

A: There is not a fighter that doesn’t have a weakness, it’s just about having the talent to expose your opponents weakness. But I can say this, Dawson isn’t ready for me. Dawson is just a pup in a dogfight.

Q: Are there any special preparations for Dawson in training?

A: Were going to be bringing in some tall southpaws for sparring. I’m in decent shape now about 60%, not fighting shape yet. The first thing is to get into shape and then worry about what the fight is going to be like.

Q: Glen what are the plans after the Dawson fight. Is this the end of the road? Are you still excited about boxing?

A: I’m excited about proving myself. Excited that at my age (39) I still have the skills to compete with the best. I still have financial goals and boxing is my means to making them happen.

Fightcapper boxing money train that pays out in cold hard cash. Marchetti has a huge GUARANTEED winning boxing bet for this Friday Night Fights matchup between Sechew Powell vs Kevin Finley.
