UFC 100 Mark Coleman (15-9) vs. Stephen Bonnar (11-5): Another bout has been announced for The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s century-event celebration of its UFC 100, as UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman returns to the Octagon to take on Stephen Bonnar in a light-heavyweight matchup.
UFC 100 is scheduled to take place on July 11th 2009 live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it can be seen on pay per view. 
After being rumored as early as March of this year, Amir Sadollah finally confirmed the bout between the 44-year-old Hammer and the 32-year-old, Bonnar during the new episodes of "The Ultimate Fighter 9" on Spike TV.
Both fighters come into UFC 100 after losses and in must-win situations. In January 31st, “UFC 94: St-Pierre vs. Penn 2” Bonnar was defeated by Jon Jones by Unanimous Decision.
Much like his opponent, Bonnar finds himself in a must-win situation. Bonnar, who's battled with inconsistency since joining the UFC in 2005, has now lost three of his past five fights, which included a unanimous-decision loss earlier this year to Jon Jones at UFC 94. Bonnar is just 2-3 in his last 5 fights in the UFC.
“The Hammer” comes in a more desperate position than his opponent having lost 4 consecutive fights in the Octagon. Coleman’s most recent defeat came by 3rd round TKO in UFC 93 against the Brazilian, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. In fact, the last time Coleman was victorious in the UFC dates all the way back to UFC 12’s “Judgment Day”, when he defeated Dan Severn by Submission (choke), on February 7, 1997.
In addition to the Coleman-Bonnar fight, the UFC has announced 3 official bouts for UFC 100: UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar vs. interim heavyweight title-holder Frank Mir, UFC welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves and Michael Bisping vs. Dan Henderson.
