Two Days after Glen Johnson got completely jobbed in front of a Showtime audience by a 12-round decision loss Saturday night, Glen has announced that he is going to appeal the decision to the Florida Boxing Commission Florida Boxing Commission. Johnson beat up battered and outclassed the hot contender Chad Dawson only to have the W.B.C belt stolen from him by judges Peter Trematerra, Jack Woodburn and Nicolas Hidalgo. The fight was ruled a unanimous decision for Dawson with all three of the dubious judges scoring the bout 166-112 in Dawson’s favor. In his live interview on Fightnews, Glen showed off his still clean face that was not marked up bruised by any of the Chad Dawson punches “that Supposedly” landed. J ohnson also had a chance to call out a laundry list of fighters that he wants to tattoo. Glen said “Roy Jones Jr. I am looking for you.” Bernard Hopkins, Joe Calzaghe, Antonio Tarver were all named as opponents that Glen Johnson wants to do battle with. After the Dawson fight Johnson should be recognized as the true #1 Light-Heavyweight contender. The winner of Bernard Hopkins vs Joe Calzaghe is the fight that should be made and if not, watching Johnson give Roy Jones another concussion would be fun to watch as well. The Boxing odds for Glen Johnson vs Chad Dawson favored Dawson by a 3-1 margin.
